"The minute you feel like you’re putting on a costume, I don’t think it’s good. The minute you feel like it doesn’t go with your personality or that you’re trying too hard, that’s not good. I think that’s the worse thing to try too hard. It’s so obvious whether it’s men or women. Some people can pull it off. For example, you see Lenny Kravitz. He can pull off anything like tight pants and  fur coat, but someone else wouldn’t come close."
