I get so many great anecdotes about style and fashion from the newsroom. One colleague recently told me about a party she and some friends had organized. The email invitation came with style directions: "Dress Sexy, Not Nasty." She said it was imperative to specify the dress code, "Some people just don't know what to wear, even when they're grown."
Best to save nasty for the bedroom, she said.
